Talking about the show, Chakraborty said it is one of the high-budgeted shows produced by the company. The production cost for Bose Dead/Alive falls in the range of Rs 10 to 20 crore.
Chakraborty stated that Bose Dead/Alive is not the typical bio-pic of great freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, rather it is a thriller.
He also said that the show has been scaled-up 3X times than it was originally decided. The scaling took place across all levels from script to location. The show has been shot in three countries – Poland, Thailand and India (Ladakh).
“We wanted to change the mindset. We want to say that even India can produce the series of international caliber. We also received great support from Ekta (Kapoor) and her team,” he noted. – Indian DTH
