Global Content Bazaar – 2017, held in Mumbai on January 12, 2017, promoted sale and purchase of content in the multi-core entertainment industry. Leading content providers, buyers, and sellers including Shanghai Wings Media from China, Zee TV, Viacom 18, Sony Pictures Network, Doordarshan, DTV Turkey, ATV Turkey, Fight Globe, NH Studioz, Ultra Media & Entertainment, Creative Eye Ltd., WebTVAsia, Pocket Films, Green Gold Animation, Global One Enterprise, Qube Cinema, and Fashion TV made their presence felt at the show. Content creators and innovators showcased their work to potential buyers and distributors and also engaged in collaborations that are pivotal in the creation of content for pavilions at the three-day event held at World Trade Centre in Mumbai, organized by Saicom Trade Fairs and Exhibitions.
The trade show focused on content that powers India's vast entertainment and infotainment industry, and showcased the latest in content for film, television, animation, docs and shorts, virtual reality, OTT-IPTV-VOD, 3-D, music, radio, interactive gaming, and mobile, among others. The Content Monetizing Avenues Conference held on the first day of the show was the highlight of the event, and 20 speakers presented papers on the latest trends in the content industry.
