India is a progressive market, and has different requirements from other regions. I believe Ross Video understands it well. We have developed products, which range from being cost-effective to top-of-the-line, yet, value for money, and therefore fit in the required tight budgets, which the clients need.

Ross Video has also been investing into the region. Over the last few years, we have added resources to our team based in India, and we will continue to do so in future as well. We understand the need for local presence in the region, which will enable us to have better coverage and provide better support for our customers in the region. Business partners are important to us, and we continue to look forward to train and educate our partners on the latest technologies.

In October, at Broadcast India which will be held in Mumbai, we shall be showcasing our region-specific products and technologies, and see it as an opportunity to meet our customers and make inroads with new ones.

On products for India

Sophisticated products and solutions that are cost effective is the target we set for ourselves. We have zeroed in on the theme of smart production, and have over the last couple of years worked to create solutions and products that we believe will be great fit for India.

Overdrive Express is an entry-level automated production control system. It offers a compelling standard feature set and is scalable up to the largest and most complex overdrive system, with no wasted investment.

Abekas Mira Replay is a live instant replay, achieved with a cost-effective, easy-to-operate, extremely flexible, and very powerful multi-channel replay system, which includes compelling features and a unique ergonomically designed control surface and purpose-built application. In addition to that, we have recently launched an even more budget-friendly version of Mira Replay, called the Mira Express.

Graphite is an all-in-one production system designed and built with quality and reliability in mind. It provides full production value with innovative software and hardware platforms that come together for professional-quality productions. It is a real production switcher, a real graphics system, a real audio mixer, all-in-one package with no compromise.

Relentlessly innovating, we deliver a wide range of products and services for augmented reality and virtual sets, mobile live-event solutions, real-time motion graphics, camera systems, robotics, social-media management, production switchers, routers, infrastructure products, video servers, newsroom systems, signal processing, and more.

India success story, so far

We have recently won a tender for setting up studios for Doordarshan in Chennai and Kolkata locations. We have also had success from Hindu Dharma, TV 5 Kannada, and TV 5 News for PCR and MCR. We have also worked on major ARVS projects with several corporate customers as well as the first Acuity installation in India.

Sushee Media (Raj TV) chose us for their new TV station's PCR and MCR.

India ranks among the top three markets in APAC region. It is our prime focus, and we plan to continue to invest and support our clients to meet their growing needs.

Our goal is to make it easy for our customers to produce and telecast the challenging segments as news, sports, legislative assemblies, entertainment shows and rock concerts, and the houses of worship.

Year 2016 was a successful year for Ross Video, particularly in the APAC region. Company wide, we have maintained 25 years of continuous growth, with an average annual growth of 17 percent per year. We are upbeat for 2017 too!
