AMC doubles channels on Antenna Hungária

Central and Northern Europe (AMCNI CNE) has announced a multi-year channel distribution deal with Hungary’s state-owned broadcast operator Antenna Hungária.

The long term deal will see all of AMCNI CNE’s television channels available in Antenna Hungária’s MinDigTV Extra subscription package as of 6 September these new channels include Minimax, JimJam, Sport2, Filmcafé, Film Mánia, CBS Reality and Extreme Sports. These double the total AMCNI CNE channels offered by MinDigTV Extra, with AMC, Spektrum Home, Sport1, Spektrum and TV Paprika continuing to be available.

In addition, the deal will see AMCNI CNE’s channels’ programming available to viewers across multiple devices.

The news comes after Antenna Hungária has successfully completed its transition to the DVB-T2 platform. Customers to the operator have been supplied with new receivers, with new channels and subscription options to be introduced in the Autumn. Digital TV
