IndiaCast Partners with ABS to Expand on UK’s Sky Glass

IndiaCast Media Distribution recently chose ABS Broadcast to fast-track its launch on Sky UK’s new connected streaming TV, Sky Glass.

IndiaCast is India’s first multi-platform ‘Content Asset Monetization’ entity, jointly owned by TV18 & Viacom18. The company’s mandate includes Domestic Distribution, Placement Services, International Channel Distribution, International Marketing & Advertising Sales, New Media (digital) distribution and Content Syndication for TV18, Viacom18 and A+E Networks|TV18. IndiaCast has a portfolio of 21 dedicated international feeds (including COLORS, MTV India International, COLORS RISHTEY, COLORS CINEPLEX, COLORS regional channels) and a total of more than 30 channels that are distributed in 130+ countries as linear services and content syndication in over 110+ countries. Apart from Television shows & series, IndiaCast also offers Indian feature films (both Bollywood & Regional) on digital platforms in India and overseas markets.

After an intensive on-boarding project with ABS Broadcast, Viacom18’s marquee channels – Colors and Colors Rishtey are now available on Sky Glass. As one of the most popular international channels on the platform, Sky was keen to get Viacom18’s offerings launched quickly and efficiently. ABS Broadcast took on the task of on-boarding the channels.

The addition of Viacom18’s channels sets ABS Broadcast as the provider with the most launches on Sky Glass.
