Sports18 to officially broadcast Durand Cup 2022

The Durand Cup committee has roped in Sports18 as their official broadcasters of the tournament. Yes, there were rumours around the vertical that the recently launched channel might take up the prestigious tournament under their belt. Now, finally it has come in a formal way.

The Durand Cup 2022 is all set to start on the 16th of August. For the first time, all 11 Indian Super League teams will be participating in the tournament. Although the Durand Cup authorities wanted the ISL sides to field their main team, many clubs will be using their reserve team to ply the trade.
