Star Sports Network to broadcast India Vs Sri Lanka T20I series
After winning the Test series against Bangladesh, India will play Sri Lanka in a white-ball series to kick off the new year with a spectacle.
The year will see some of the biggest cricket spectacles in the world on the field, and Team India has an action-packed schedule of cricket matches that is sure to captivate spectators nationwide.
The Men in Blue begin the New Year with a pivotal series against the champions of the Asia Cup 2022, Sri Lanka. Beginning on January 3, 2023, three T20 Internationals between India and Sri Lanka will be televised live on the Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar.
The tournament’s official broadcasters, Star Sports, published a promo that puts fans at the centre of the story, enhancing the whole experience.
The Disney Star internal team designed and conceptualised the advertisement, which also stars Hardik Pandya and two devoted fans, Madhu and Bala. In a humorous attempt to obtain tickets from Hardik Pandya to see the match live, the supporters first pose as tour guides for the India-Sri Lanka tour. While Pandya reassures them that even though the Lankan Lions will be on the prowl, the jungle belongs to the Indians, and there is no better feeling than playing at home, Star Sports reported in a release on Monday that both Madhu and Bala are concerned about the pedigree of the Asian Champions when they tour India for the T20I series.
As India aims to start their New Year with a triumph against their island neighbours, the series between India and Sri Lanka will be one to keep an eye on. News Track
