Prasar Bharati invites applications for the allotment of MPEG-4 slots on DD Free Dish

Prasar Bharati has issued a call for applications to allocate MPEG-4 slots on DD Free Dish on a pro-rata basis, covering the period from July 18, 2023, to March 31, 2024.

The auction is scheduled tentatively for July 11. The broadcasting corporation has announced that the e-auction will adhere to the methodology used for assigning DD Free Dish slots to private TV channels.

All genre channels will have the opportunity to bid in the e-auction for MPEG-4 slots, starting at a reserve price of Rs 1.24 crore.
