TRAI extends deadline for comments on quality-of-service standards

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) issued a Consultation Paper on ‘Review of QuaIity-of-Se rvice Standards for Access Services (Wireless and Wireline) and Broadband (Wireless and Wireline) Services” on 18th August,2023. The last date of submission of comments and countercomments are 22nd November 2023 and 6th December 2023 respectively.

Based on the request received from multiple stakeholders for an extension of time for submission of comments, it has been decided to further extend the last date for submission of written comments from the stakeholders to 14th December 2023 and counter comments by 28th December 2023.

Written comments on the Consultation paper may be sent, preferably in electronic form to the email address [email protected]. All comments will be posted on TRAl’s website. The stakeholders are requested to submit their comments and counter-comments timely as no request for further extension of timelines will be considered.
