Abhay Shankar named Principal Advisor, TRAI

Abhay Shankar Verma has been appointed Principal Advisor at the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

Prior to this, he was Deputy Director General, DoT Ranchi Jharkhand for more than a year.

He brings with him experience as Deputy Director General (Mobile Technologies) Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), Department of Telecommunications. He has also worked with the National Highways Authority of India and at BSNL.
