ZEE5 promotes Shresth Gupta to VP – marketing (SVOD)

ZEE5, India’s leading home-grown video streaming platform, has announced the elevation of Shresth Gupta to Vice President – Marketing (SVOD) for India and global markets. Gupta, who joined ZEE5 in August 2020, will now lead the launch and promotion of original series and movies across Hindi, Bengali, and Marathi, aiming to drive subscription growth domestically and internationally.

With over 15 years of experience in strategic planning and brand building, Gupta has previously held leadership roles at Sun TV Network, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, and Reliance Broadcast Network. He has led successful campaigns such as the launches of Zindagi and &Prive HD and played a key role in the introduction of Sun Bangla in the eastern markets. Notably, Gupta also helmed marketing for ZEE5 launches, including Taj: Divided by Blood, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, and Gyaarah Gyaarah.

Gupta is recognised for his expertise in digital marketing, storytelling, and consumer insights, and has a proven track record of executing campaigns that resonate with audiences. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Communications from MICA and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Rajasthan University.
