ACN Digital removed ZEE Network channels

Zee Network claimed that ACN was continuing to offer Zee Channels to its customers despite the channel’s disconnection. This was allegedly done by illegally pirating signals. Zee Network issued notices in local newspapers asking ACN customers to report piracy and request refunds for missing Zee Channels.

Disconnection of channel​
ACN Digital Pvt Ltd, which was established in 2013, offers around 400 TV channels and other services. Zee Network was unable to verify the subscribers of the LCO, leading to financial losses. TDSAT took the matter up.

Zee Network claims that ACN Digital failed, despite an order by the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal(TDSAT), to pay Rs 9 crores 80 Lakh subscription to Zee Network. The broadcaster was forced from ACN Digital to remove the channel. Entmnt
