Anil Jayaraj, CEO Viacom18 Sports has put in his papers

Anil Jayaraj, CEO, Sports, Viacom18 Media Private Limited, has resigned. He had joined the company in September 2021. Before joining Viacom18, Jayaraj was executive vice president, Star TV Network for six-and-a-half years.

In February 2024, Reliance-backed Viacom 18 invested USD 1.4 billion and secured a 63 percent interest in the joint venture it formed with Disney’s Star India.
