ASCI likely to appoint Partha Sinha as new chairman

The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) is expected to elect Partha Sinha as its new Chairman on 4 September, succeeding Saugata Gupta.

Gupta served as Chairman of the ASCI Board of Governors for the 2023-2024 term and is also the Managing Director and CEO of Marico.

Sinha, who was recently appointed as the President and Chief Brand Officer of Bennett, Coleman & Co (BCCL) on July 12 is set to take over the role.

Sinha brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at organisations including Ogilvy, Publicis, BBH, McCann and Citibank. He is also an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad.
