Bharat Electronics order book at Rs 51,798 crore in FY20

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has recorded a turnover of Rs 11,789 crore during the FY2018-19, registering a growth of 17 percent over the previous year turnover of Rs 10,085 crore. The profit before tax for FY 2018-19 was Rs 2703 crore compared to Rs 1948 crore in 2017-18. The profit after tax was Rs 1927 crore as against Rs 1399 crore in the previous year. The company recorded an export turnover of USD 21.6 million, as against USD 26 million in 2017-18. The turnover per employee was Rs 123 lakh compared to Rs 104 lakh in the previous year.
