Blackbird hires Morgan Henry as VP Engineering

Blackbird plc (AIM:BIRD; OTCQX:BBRDF), the technology licensor, developer and seller of the market-leading cloud native video editing platform, Blackbird, today announces the appointment of Morgan Henry as VP Engineering.

A vision-led technology leader, Morgan brings 20 years experience heading and growing teams in innovator and disruptor businesses across mobile, media, music and multiplayer gaming. Starting his career writing operating systems for landmark smartphones, Morgan then successfully ran strategic innovation programmes at UK IPTV pioneer, YouView. More recently, Morgan’s focus has been on accelerating growth for organizations supporting digital content creators and the creator-to-consumer economy.

Morgan joins Blackbird to lead the company’s engineering team and ensure the successful development and rollout of current and future products.
