Carriage of DD channels mandatory on cable TV network

The ministry of information and broadcasting has made it mandatory for all cable TV networks to carry DD channels. And since several cable operators, are not complying, MIB has decided that an affidavit be furnished by both existing MSOs as well as fresh applicants that they are carrying all 24 DD channels, besides Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha TV channels, on their TV network.
