Changes at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited

Anil Malhotra, chief operating officer at SITI Networks Ltd, has been appointed as chief revenue officer. He succeeds Atul Das, who has put in his papers.

Mangesh Kulkarni, previously business head of Marathi Films at Zee Studios, has been appointed as the business head of Zee TV.

Last month, Zee’s board of directors approved a new organizational framework suggested by Punit Goenka, the managing director and CEO.

In the new structure Siju Prabhakaran, who led the south cluster of channels, has been given additional responsibility for the west cluster.

Samrat Ghosh, who leads the east cluster of channels, has also been given additional responsibility for the north and premium clusters.

Ruchir Tiwari continues to lead the Hindi movies cluster.

Vishnu Shankar continues to lead TV and the free-to-air segments.

Ashish Sehgal handles integrated advertisement sales for both, the broadcast and digital businesses, focusing on maximizing advertiser value and profitability.

Amit Goenka continues to lead the digital business, now with added responsibilities over original content, including movies, international broadcast business, enterprise technology, and broadcast operations and engineering.

Umesh Bansal helms the movie business, overseeing content production, strategy, movie acquisition, and syndication.

Anurag Bedi remains in charge of the music business.
