C&W Communications on board for 2024 T20 World Cup

C&W Communications, the Caribbean telecom part of the Liberty Latin America group of companies, has been announced as the official and exclusive telecommunications supporter in the Caribbean for the upcoming cricket ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

As part of the deal, C&W Communications will provide telecommunications services and connectivity support throughout the tournament.

The company’s C&W Business arm will also provide internet connectivity services for the tournament’s official media hub at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre in Barbados, the host venue for the final.

The T20 World Cup begins on June 1 with the USA competing with Canada at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

The tournament is being held in the West Indies and the US and will conclude on June 29.

Earlier this month, Amul, the Indian dairy conglomerate, unveiled sponsorship agreements covering the US (co-hosts) and South African cricket teams at the tournament. Sportcal
