Deutsche Telekom Adds 74,000 TV Customers

German telco Deutsche Telekom has added 74,000 new subscribers to its domestic TV platform MagentaTV in Q4 2019.

The increase was higher than in Q4 2018 in which 62,000 new customers were reported. In total, MagentaTV had more than 3.6 million subscribers at the end of 2019.

The number of fibre-optic-based lines in the Telekom network rose to 14.4 million at the end of 2019, 2.2 million more than a year earlier. Broadband TV News
