Gerhard Mack has been head of Commercial Operations at Vodafone Germany since April 1, 2016. The communications technology engineer Gerhard Mack has been working for Kabel Deutschland and Vodafone since 2006. After the takeover by Vodafone, he was Deputy Technology Director responsible for integrating the technology areas of Vodafone and Kabel Deutschland. Prior to joining Kabel Deutschland, Gerhard Mack spent 14 years in the technology department at Alcatel SEL AG in Stuttgart, most recently as head of the Optical Networks business unit for Germany and Eastern Europe.

In his new role as head of technology at Vodafone, Gerhard Mack faces exciting challenges in order to further expand network infrastructure and IT systems at Vodafone. Over the next few months, Vodafone will continue to drive forward its gigabit expansion in the cable network under its direction, take many new LTE sites online and close many remaining dead spots.
