Joy Chakraborthy quits Goldmines Telefilms where he joined as CEO earlier this year in January.

Alleged differences with the promotor Manish Shah is the reason for his sudden exit.

With 27 years in the media industry, Chakraborthy’s experience traverses print, television, radio and digital businesses in the Indian media industry, with ad sales and revenue generation being core to his career. He is one of the industry leaders who has been active in initiating and leading change throughout his career.

He has held several leadership roles including Enterr10 Television Pvt Ltd CEO, TV18 Broadcast Ltd president and CEO, Bennett Coleman and Co Ltd director, TV Today Network CEO and Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd executive director.
