Green Gold Launches Animation Studio in Mumbai

Green Gold Animation has recently launched a second studio company, Golden Robot in Mumbai. Golden Robot will complement the parent firm Green Gold by focusing on international projects that could be outsourced to India. The studio will also provide a platform for domestic as well as international coproductions. Green Gold, on the other hand, will be focusing on creating IPs that the company can then sell or lease to broadcasters all over the world. Since Green Gold’s locally created characters are gaining popularity, channels like Cartoon Network, Pogo, Nickelodeon, and Sonic have all outlined plans to include more local content that is based on locally relevant characters.
