Haivision to showcase innovations in cloud, IP, and 5G video streaming at IBC2022

Haivision Systems Inc., a leading global provider of mission-critical, real-time streaming, video networking, and visual collaboration solutions, today announced that the company will showcase its comprehensive and innovative IP, cloud, and mobile broadcast video solutions at IBC2022.

From September 9 to 12 in Hall 2, Stand B36, at the RAI convention center in Amsterdam, Haivision will unveil its next-generation of 5G and cellular bonding technology for broadcast contribution along with its low latency video encoding and cloud-based workflow management solutions. At IBC, Haivision will also show its synchronized multi-camera streaming and decentralized remote production solutions for live sports, news, and entertainment.

IBC visitors will get an up-close look at Haivision’s latest technology innovations including:

Game-Changing 5G Contribution:
Haivision will demonstrate the latest 4K/UHD bonded cellular technology for broadcasting live events from anywhere including an exciting new addition to its solutions portfolio. With pristine HEVC image quality and powered by both SRT and SST protocols, Haivision mobile contribution solutions, including the best-in-class PRO460 video transmitter and the versatile StreamHub transceiver, offer the greatest workflow flexibility and the lowest end-to-end latency over 5G networks.

Decentralized Remote Production:
Widely adopted for live remote production by broadcasters worldwide, Haivision’s Makito X4 series of low latency video encoders and decoders enables broadcasters to cover more events at higher quality and at lower costs. Video professionals can cover every angle with multi-camera synchronization, contribute to on-premise or cloud workflows, and collaborate seamlessly with decentralized teams.

Future-Proof Cloud Workflows:
Haivision will showcase new cloud technology for intuitive central management of live streams, transcodes, and routing workflows. From a browser user interface, broadcasters can remotely manage all their mobile transmitters and wired video devices no matter where they are located and orchestrate workflow elements, minimizing set-up time and simplifying operation for camera operators, technical staff, and talent in the field.

“At this year’s IBC we will share our vision for the future of broadcast contribution. Following our acquisition of Aviwest, our remote production solutions portfolio is more extensive and powerful than ever,” said Ghislain Colette, Vice President of Product Management, Broadcast at Haivision. “We are excited to meet with our customers face to face to demonstrate how they can benefit from our latest cloud, IP and 5G innovations and our expanded live video contribution product portfolio to make live broadcasting easier, sustainable, and cost-effective.” BCS Bureau
