Harshad Jain Appointed As CEO For Next Media Works

Post the exit of Vineet Singh Hukmani and with HT Media becoming a major shareholder of Next Media Works, the company has elevated Harshad Jain as the next CEO effective from 22nd April. He was previously Business Head for HT Media’s FM radio business including ‘Fever & Nasha’ and ‘Fever Entertainment’.

Additionally, Abhishek Kapoor has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer for the company. The company has appointed 6 people to the board of directors including Ajay Relan (Additional Director – Non Executive & Independent), Parveen Someshwar (Additional Director – Non Executive & Independent), Dinesh Mittal (Additional Director – Non Executive & Independent), Harshad Jain, (Additional Director), and Abhishek Kapoor (CFO).

Key personal have resigned from Next Media Works, namely – Tarique Ansari (CMD), Ismail Dahoya (CFO), and members of the board Adille Sumariwala, Idupuganty Venkat, Monisha Shah, Ranbir Singh Bhandal, and Sunil Dalal.

The company has seen a major restructuring post the merger of HT Media and Next Media Works radio businesses. HT Media’s Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh stations and Next Media Works’ Ahmedabad stations were not part of the agreement.―Adgully
