NBCUniversal restructures Peacock Communications operations, leading to executive departures

NBCUniversal is restructuring Peacock’s publicity and corporate communications operations, sources tell Deadline. The streamer’s corporate communications team is being integrated into the broader TV & Streaming business, reporting into Mark Lazarus, Chairman, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, while publicity will become part of the marketing division, reporting to Peacock’s CMO Shannon Willett.

As a result, Peacock’s two senior corporate communications executives — Lisa Scalzo, EVP, Communications, Direct-to-Consumer and International, NBCUniversal Media; and Lisa McGann, SVP, Communications, Direct-to-Consumer — are leaving the company, we have learned.
