O2 TV goes on Android TV

The Czech O2 TV service will from the second half of this month be made available on Sony, Philips and Panasonic Android TVs.

In a statement, the incumbent adds that the Android TVs in question will require an Android TV 9.0 or higher operating system. Up until now, the service been available on the recently launched app for LG smart TVs and Samsung TV.

O2 adds that in the application, customers can use all the functions they are used to from the interface of a regular O2 TV.

There is also seven day catch-up, skipping programmes and recording or searching for programmes by name or genre. There is also a clear TV program and a Premium section (formerly Applications), where viewers will find the popular O2 TV Plus service, the new National Geographic library with more than 300 premium documentaries, HBO OD or Children’s Corner.

Customers can also choose to watch film news in the O2 Video Library or the most successful films that are currently available on individual O2 TV channels. EN.Rasmiapp
