Polish business channel set to launch

The new Polish business channel Biznes24 will make its debut this Friday, March 20.

Wirtualne Media reports that at launch it will be offered by Canal+, along with many cable operators including Asta-Net and Telpol.

Biznes24 will subsequently be made available on Orange TV and the cable operator Toya in April.

In the light of the coronavirus outbreak, the channel will also be offered on a trial basis to all other interested Polish operators. Furthermore, it will be accessible to viewers on a paid basis on the site biznes24.pl.

Biznes24 is backed by the Polish media entrepreneur Michal Winnicki, owner of Michal Winnicki Entertainment (MWE), and Roman Mlodowski.

While Mlodowski will be responsible for programming, editorial and managing Biznes24’s headquarters in Warsaw, Winnicki and his team will oversee technology, the channel’s network of correspondents, distribution and the sale of airtime. Broadband TV News
