Radio Indigo CEO Satyanarayana Murthy Steps Down

Radio Indigo CEO Satyanarayana Murthy (CEO)has stepped down. Murthy, who earlier was the Radio City National Marketing Head for almost a span of seven years, had joined Radio Indigo in 2016.

During his tenure, there were several changes, which were been brought in terms of consumers experiences, bringing the Indigo Live Music Bar, which was the only radio station to have this as their own destination. A convergence of an artist from an on air to an on ground space was a huge decision Radio Indigo had made.

With more than 20 years of experience, Murthy’s job role included designing new growth and remodeling the brand to make it relevant to the consumers and advertisers. Earlier he has also worked with L&T, Bharat Shell and Adlabs Films.

In 2017, Radio Indigo had set a record for being the only station where RJ’s were their band members. Also, Radio Indigo has its operations in Bangalore and Goa and has also made a mark in the international music niche.
