Saurabh Varma joins JIO Studios as CMO

The Media and Content Division of Reliance Industries Ltd, Jio Studios has appointed Saurabh Varma as its Chief Marketing Officer. In his new role, Saurabh will be handling Content Marketing Strategy for all Jio Studios content across films and web series in Hindi and regional languages.

Before joining Jio Studios, Varma was working with INOX Leisure Limited as CMO for over 3 years. In his career spanning 24 years, Saurabh Varma has been a reputed Film Marketeer, Film Director and a Content Creator. Saurabh has handled multiple exciting roles in the Film & Entertainment Industry and has marketed more than 500 films across multiple Indian languages. His wholesome experience spans across the Commerce and the Creative side of Films, OTT, Theatrical Distribution, Marketing and Strategy Planning in the Indian Film Industry. He has written and directed several films, including the acclaimed Mickey Virus. Saurabh’s in-depth knowledge & expertise in all the aspects of film marketing has also fetched him the prestigious Philip Kotler Award. medianews4u
