Siti Networks Appoints Anil Kumar Malhotra As CEO

Based on recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors of the Company has approved the appointment of Anil Kumar Malhotra as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Siti Networks Ltd with effect from September 1, 2019.

Anil Kumar Malhotra, is a veteran with over 34 years of rich experience across the Cable Television industry with deep expertise across various facets of Media Distribution viz. Technology, Content, Regulatory Compliances and Sales Operations. He has a proven track record of amalgamating progressive leadership & entrepreneurial spirit throughout his career. Mr.Malhotra played a critical role in the successful implementation of New Tariff Order framework at SITI Networks Ltd. (“SITI Networks”) and was instrumental in transformation of SITI Networks from analog player to a digital Multiple System Operator.

Mr. Malhotra joined SITI Networks as Chief Operating Officer in 2011 and since then he has helmed various leadership roles across Essel Group. Prior to SITI Networks, Mr.Malhotra had various successful entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial stints, including serving as President (North India) for In-Cable. He realized the potential of Cable TV & Distribution, long before the emergence of MSO’s, and ventured into hardware manufacturing for the industry and later setup his multiple Master Control Rooms & Head-ends.

Mr.Malhotra has been an active member of various Government & Industry bodies including MIB task forces for implementation of DAS regulations, New Tariff Order etc. and All India Digital Cable Federation. Mr.Malhotra has been conferred with several acclaims for his contribution to the industry. Mr.Malhotra holds a Master’s degree in Physics from Dehradun.―Equity Bulls
