Sony Sports Network acquires broadcast and live streaming rights of India tour of Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe’s low-key India tour will be broadcast live on Sony Sports Network. India will play 3 ODIs against Zimbabwe from 18 August. Sony recently lost out to Star Sports over the rights of IPL and Cricket Australia. The network still has the rights to broadcast England Cricket, Sri Lanka Cricket and Pakistan Cricket Board

The senior players of the team will play in the Asia Cup 2022, which will be played in the UAE from 27 August to 11 September as per the available information. The upcoming edition of Asia Cup will be played in T20 format.

Sony tours Zimbabwe loses Cricket Australia broadcast rights Meanwhile, the bad news for Sony is that they have lost the Cricket Australia rights to Star Sports.

Star Sports has entered into an agreement with Cricket Australia for its broadcasting rights in India. The deal comes after Star Sports recently acquired the IPL media rights for the next cycle. The CA deal means that Star Sports will telecast the Border Gavaskar Trophy, The Ashes, India’s international games, the IPL and the T20 World Cup in India. Premier News
