Star India ad sales president and head quits

Amit Chopra has stepped down from the role of president and head – ad sales. Chopra will join private equity firm Samara Capital. Chopra was responsible for heading advertising revenues for entertainment, digital, and sports. After joining Star India in 2013 as lead sales, he was moved to the position of revenue head, managing profits for distribution and ad sales after a year.
