Star Sports To Broadcast Wimbledon 2019 LIVE In India

Star Sports will broadcast the Wimbledon Championship, third tennis grand slam of the year, LIVE in India.

As the majority of the Star Sports network screen will be occupied with the ICC World Cup LIVE action, also being played in England and Wales, the Wimbledon matches will be broadcast on the Star Sports Select channels.

Fans can catch the Day One action LIVE on Star Sports Select 1, Star Sports Select 1 HD, Star Sports Select 2 and Star Sports Select 2 HD. The matches at the All-England Lawn Tennis Association courts, London, form July 2 will be LIVE on Star Sports Select 2 and Star Sports Select 2 HD.

The LIVE feed on Star Sports on Day One will start from 5:30 pm India time. On Day 2, July 2nd, the main feed will go on air from 5:30 pm. However, fans can catch the second feed on Star Sports Select 2 and Star Sports Select 2 HD from 4:00 pm.

The Wimbledon Championship 2019 is scheduled from July 1 to 14.

Meanwhile, the newly-crowned women’s world No. 1 singles player Ashleigh Barty, the French Open 2019 champion, and Rafael Nadal are faced with injury scare a week before the prestigious Grand Slam championship.

Ashleigh, who had pulled out of the Eastbourne International to take rest, is women’s top seed for the Wimbledon 2019.―Inside Sport
