Toonz Entertainment inks strategic partnerships ahead of MIPCOM
Toonz Entertainment, the content distribution arm of Toonz Media Group, a key player in the world of kids and family entertainment, has forged strategic partnerships with leaders of the sector to release popular animated shows prior MIPCOM.
From UK-based V&S Entertainment Ltd., Toonz Entertainment has acquired the sole distribution rights to “Everything’s Rosie.” For Latin America, Europe, the United States, and Canada, there are 104 episodes totaling 11 minutes each. All distribution rights for “Everything’s Rosie”—for TV, VOD, the web, and all videogram platforms—will now belong to Toonz.
Preschool children love the popular HD CGI animation Everything’s Rosie because it encourages learning via play while also fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical educational aspects. The series, aimed at children ages 3-6, recounts the adventure of young Rosie and her friends Will, Holly, Big Bear, Oakley, the old Oak Tree, and Raggles, the blue rabbit.
Also, Toonz Entertainment currently owns exclusive distribution rights for “Bubble Bath Bay” from Pop Family Entertainment Pty Ltd, an Australian company, for a global audience, except for Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. Sydney the Sailboat and Zip the Water Taxi are closest friends in the brand-new 3D animated preschool series, which has 52 episodes and runs for 11 minutes. In the action-packed Bubble Bath Bay of the preschool show, they discover how to ride the waves alongside their fleet of pals. By virtue of this deal, Toonz Entertainment will be granted exclusive rights to make the program available to the public via TV, platforms for Video-On-Demand, theatrical screenings, and airline rights.
Another exciting development is that Toonz and USA-based GoldieBlox Inc. have teamed up to distribute live-action GoldieBlox series including “Hack Along with Goldie Blox,” “The Goldie Squad Show,” “Toy Hackers,” “Curiosity Kitchen,” “Curiosity Camp,” “Camp GoldieBlox,” “Goldie Bots,” “Fast Forward Girls,” and “Draw Her Life.” The live-action series will last for 3 to 11 minutes each episode and is available in English and all regional languages globally.
“We are thrilled to launch these amazing shows from some of the best in the industry like Pop Family Entertainment Pty Ltd, V&S Entertainment Ltd and GoldieBlox Inc for MIPCOM this year. It is with great pleasure that we are announcing that we will be representing their shows for distribution in different markets,” Bruno Zarka, President of Distribution, Syndication & Feature Films Divisions of Toonz Media Group, commented.
