TRAI extends deadline for “Promoting local manufacturing in broadcasting” paper

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadline for submitting written comments and counter-comments on its consultation paper on ““Promoting local manufacturing in the television broadcasting sector”. The second and last deadline for comments is February 9, 2022, while the counter comments will be accepted till February 23.

“Keeping in view the request of Industry Associations and stakeholders for extension of time for submission of comments due to current pandemic situation, it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of written comments and counter-comments up to 09th February 2022 and 23rd February 2022 respectively. No further requests for extension would be considered,” TRAI said in an official circular. Communications Today
