TRAI gives extention for comments on data economy framework

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) had released a Consultation Paper on “Regulatory Framework for Promoting Data Economy Through Establishment of Data Centres, Content Delivery Networks, and Interconnect Exchanges in India” on 16th December, 2021. The last date for receiving Written Comments on the issues raised in the Consultation Paper from the stakeholders was fixed as 13th January 2022 and for Counter Comments as 27th January 2022.

The stakeholders have sought extension of time for sending their comments on the above said Consultation Paper. Keeping in view the requests of stakeholders, it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of Written Comments and Counter Comments up to 03rd February, 2022 and 17th February,2022 respectively.
