The way people consume television on Vodafone TV in Spain has changed significantly in the last year.
According to Vodafone España, usage of the service has grown 34% since March 2020. Furthermore, access to content applications such as HBO, Filmin, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube has skyrocketed by 136%, from 33 to 77 minutes a day.
Although this was spread out throughout the day, the most spectacular growth (593%) took place in the early hours, from 02.30 to 07.00.

Vodafone TV also saw a 20% increase in activations for Filmin, which is included in the Cinefans package.
Currently, around 200,000 Vodafone TV customers access the service through the platform’s app, without using a receiver (Boxless).
Furthermore, the streaming service has seen a 25% growing in the number of connected devices in the past year.
Vodafone also notes that the consumption of DTT services fell by 5%, reflected a move to the consumption of paid-for channels. Broadband TV News
