Zee Entertainment Acquires India Webportal

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) has completed acquisition of the balance 49 percent equity stake in its subsidiary India Webportal Pvt. Ltd., for Rs 197.47 crore to consolidate its digital business. It has now become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. The portal distributes media content on digital platforms through various websites including India.com, Bollywoodlife.com, and Cricketcountry.com.
